A few week ago, we released an article on the rumors and specs of the upcoming Nexus device featuring a small display panel to suit the appropriate public which is expected to be launched on September 29th at a press event, but before its launch, Droid Life believes that it knows the names of both the devices. According to them, they will named the Google Nexus 5X and 6P for the next generation of Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 respectively.
It is not entirely clear why Google kept a X at the end of the Nexus 5 series and a P at the end of the Nexus 6 series rather than the consistent names, Nexus 5X and 6X, as we haven’t found any good logical reason for this sort of naming of the devices, but Huawei has been adding a “P” to its flagships for a while now and maybe that is the cause!
Both the phones are expected to be launched alongside the new Google Chromecast at an event on September 29th. Both the phones are supposed to be the successors to the much popular Nexus 5 and Nexus 6. Leaked photos have shown us that the new LG Nexus 5 will feature a new fingerprint sensor just beneath the protruding camera. The Nexus 6, however is going to change the hands from Motorola to Huawei, making it a lot blockier with a camera strip at the back of the device.
