The OnePlus 15 is now one of the most awaited smartphones this year, as recent news suggests that its global release date has appeared online. Although OnePlus has not yet confirmed this report, one of the acclaimed outlets claim that the handset might launch globally on November 13, shortly following its expected China launch on October 27.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, sources within the industry have stated that OnePlus is hosting a global launch event on November 13, at which the OnePlus 15 will be unveiled in India in addition to international markets. Notably, pre-orders for the phone are already live in China, this makes it clear that the launch is imminent.

The OnePlus 15 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite processor, Qualcomm’s most advanced chipset. Built on a 3nm process, the processor has an eight-core Oryon CPU, six performance cores at 3.63GHz and two high-performance cores at 4.6GHz.
OxygenOS 16 to integrate Gemini AI with Plus Mind
OnePlus officially confirmed its OxygenOS 16 skin will include Google’s Gemini AI, alongside hardware upgrades. The key feature, “Plus Mind,” uses generative AI to boost productivity and personalization. This is OnePlus’s first deep integration of AI tools within its software.
Expected specifications and features
Leaks suggest that the OnePlus 15 will sport a flat panel display with ultra-narrow 1.15mm bezels and support a 165Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to achieve exceptionally high peak brightness levels.
The device may be offered in multiple configurations, including 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB RAM variants, with storage options topping out at 1TB.
In terms of build quality, OnePlus is reportedly using an aluminum frame with micro-arc oxidation treatment, claimed to be 3.4 times stronger than raw aluminum and 1.5 times tougher than titanium.
For photography, leaks point to a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP OIS main sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens.
Powering the device could be a massive 7,000mAh battery, paired with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.
India launch and pricing
OnePlus India has confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will launch in a new Sand Storm color variant. While the company has not yet disclosed pricing, industry expectations suggest a launch price between ₹65,000 and ₹70,000 in India.
