OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is likely to launch in the Chinese market soon. The China-exclusive Ace 2 Pro will bring up to 24GB of RAM as per the latest piece rumors. Let’s dig around it a bit deeper to find out more.
The latest rumor about the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has surfaced on a Chinese social networking site giving a peek into its reported specifications. According to the same, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will bring onboard a 6.74” panel with 1.5K resolution at 1,240×2,772 pixels that Ace 2 had, however, it will upgrade to a curved display instead of flat.
The phone is likely powered by a powerful and current-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (since Gen 3 hasn’t arrived yet). There’s a whopping 24GB RAM making it the second phone to get this ginormous capacity after Nubia Red Magic 8S Pro+ made headlines a few days ago. It will be flanked by 1TB of storage which isn’t much astounding given the fact that smartphone makers launch their phones in multiple storage configs anyways.
Moving on, the expected OnePlus Ace 2 Pro spec sheet adds a beefy 5,000mAh battery with a faster 150W charging tech. For reference, the Ace 2 got a 5,000mAh battery pack with 100W charging while the original Ace Pro had 150W. You can call Ace 2 Pro more like the original Ace Pro but with beefier specs onboard.
We could expect the camera setup to have three sensors (of course). There’s a 50MP primary Sony IMX890, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP auxiliary snapper. Again, IMX890 is the same sensor we saw on the OnePlus 11 and Ace 2 which means the performance is already measured.
Talking about the launch, we could see the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro this month although the dates aren’t available. We could even see the OnePlus Open, the first-ever foldable phone from the company, make its debut earlier next month. If that’s not enough for you, the OnePlus 12 could make it to the Chinese market by December as per the reports while global markets will have to wait till early next year as usual.
