- OnePlus is likely adding another smartphone in its Ace 6 series in China dubbed as "OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo".
- The phone will pick up a 9,000mAh battery and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC under the hood.
- It will be launched in China early next year followed by rebranding as OnePlus Nord 6 for launch in Q2 2026.
Seems like OnePlus is adding more models to the Ace 6 series. While the OnePlus Ace 6T is still incoming, there’s an update on the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo buzzing in the rumor mill. Apparently, the Chinese smartphone maker is adding the third model boasting a battery capacity of 9,000mAh and with a Snapdragon 8 series chipset, if rumors are to be believed.
Leak points to “Turbo” model with high-capacity battery
Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) shared fresh details on Weibo, hinting that OnePlus may introduce a third device under the Ace 6 family, possibly named the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo. According to the leak, the phone could feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a sub-flagship chipset aimed at delivering strong performance without flagship-level pricing.
What really stands out, however, is the rumored 9,000mAh battery. If accurate, this would be one of the largest battery capacities seen in a mainstream smartphone, promising close to two days of use even under heavy workloads. As for design, DCS doesn’t expect major changes, suggesting the Turbo model will likely follow the styling of the existing Ace 6 in China.
Display specs may mirror earlier reports
Previous rumors already painted a fairly detailed picture of what to expect on the display side. The Ace 6 Turbo is believed to carry a 6.78-inch LTPS OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. The refresh rate could hit 144Hz, or potentially even 165Hz, offering smoother visuals than the standard 120Hz many Android phones still use.
If and when the device heads to global markets, it may do so under the OnePlus Nord 6 name, a move that would follow the brand’s usual naming strategy, though OnePlus has not confirmed this.
OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo possible launch timeline
Based on the timeline suggested by industry sources, the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo could launch in China around January or February 2026. A broader expansion, including India, is expected sometime in Q2 2026, similar to the release path taken by the Nord 5, which launched globally in July 2025.
Should it arrive as rumored, the Ace 6 Turbo would enter a competitive space, going up against performance-oriented models such as the Realme Neo 8 SE and Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 5, both expected to land in China with comparable specs.
