The much awaited OnePlus Nord 5 Series has officially arrived right on time, and it’s a banger. OnePlus had a successful launch event today with five new products in its catalogue — Nord 5, Nord CE 5, Buds 4, and two variants of OnePlus Watch 3 (43mm and 47mm).

Apart from the new buds and the watch, the showstoppers at the event were Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 (okay, I get it — just Nord 5, for many). The vanilla Nord 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and comes with a price tag of EUR 449 in Europe. The Nord CE 5 is an affordable variant at EUR349 (again, in Europe), powered by Dimensity 8350 Apex SoC. Now that we are done with the basics, let’s dig into the specs sheet on the duo.
OnePlus Nord 5 Series: The Specifications You Need To Know
Before jumping the gun, it is perhaps better to find out all the specs these two models bring to the table.
Starting with Nord 5, the phone packs a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SOC manufactured on a 4nm node. For the unversed, this makes Nord 5. The device is equipped with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB LPDDR5X RAM. Nord 5 flaunts a 6.83” 1.5K AMOLED 144Hz panel. It is stacked with a 6,800mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging tech.

Next up, we have OnePlus Nord CE 5, a slightly watered-down version of Nord 5. It features a Dimensity 8350 Apex SoC, up to 256GB of storage, and 12GB LPDDR5X RAM. The device has a 6.77” AMOLED 1.5K panel, boasting a refresh rate of 144Hz.
On the optics front, OnePlus Nord CE 5 sports a 50MP Sony IMX600 OIS snapper flanked by an 8MP shooter. A 16MP shooter sits flush at the front for all your selfies.
