OnePlus is planning big for their upcoming Nord portfolio. It has been reported that OnePlus is working on OnePlus Nord SE for early 2021. And it is going to have some decent specs if we compare it to the first-generation OnePlus Nord. And a recent report also confirms that OnePlus Nord SE Might Feature a new 65-watt Fast Charger as a new OnePlus 65W fast charger appeared on TUV certification.
Back within the last month, the company’s aspirations to become a mainstream smartphone maker became evident with the launch of the OnePlus Nord N100 and therefore the N10 5G. Of course, the corporate also established its name, once more, within the high-end segment, with the introduction of the OnePlus 8T.
As per the TUV listing, the charger outputs multiple charging rates: 5.0V/3.0A (15W), and 10.0V/6.5A (65W). The upcoming OnePlus Nord SE could pack this 65W fast charger, which is predicted to be unveiled in Q1 2021.
The OnePlus Nord SE is codenamed Ebba, and a key differentiator for the phone is going to be Warp Charge 65, the 65W fast charging tech that debuted on the OnePlus 8T. just like the OnePlus 8T, the Nord SE will feature a 4500mAh battery (and the latest TUV certification partially confirms too), and it should take under 40 minutes to completely charge the battery. Speaking of the other hardware and on comparing it to the previous-generation Nord, the Nord SE will feature an AMOLED panel, a bit like the Snapdragon 765G-powered Nord. With the Nord N10 5G and N100 coming with LCD panels, it is a good sign that the Nord SE has an AMOLED display.
OnePlus hasn’t settled on a launch date for the Nord SE just yet, but our sources suggest the phone will launch shortly after the OnePlus 9, which is slated for a politician unveiling in March 2021. The Nord N10 5G and N100 debuted just 12 days after the OnePlus 8T, and it’s possible we’ll see an identical strategy playout for the Nord SE.
