- OnePlus Summer Launch Event is officially happening on July 16.

July 2024 appears to be action-packed as we will get to see a tonne of devices launching this month. OnePlus has announced its anticipated OnePlus Summer Launch Event this month as well, where it will showcase Nord 4 and a bunch of other devices. Scheduled at 9 AM EDT, the event will be flagged off from Milan, Italy, and will be showcased across the globe at 3:00 PM CEST and 6.30 PM IST.
OnePlus is all set to showcase a bunch of devices. Of course, the OnePlus Nord 4 takes the limelight, as it was already a much-anticipated mid-range device from the Chinese smartphone maker. Joining the wagon are the OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Watch 2R, and OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, each of which have constantly rocked the internet, appearing in countless headlines over a couple of days recently.
OnePlus Summer Launch Event on July 16: What to Expect?
Well, we already told you what you can expect at the launch event. The flag bearer of the event is the OnePlus Nord 4, a successor to last year’s Nord 3. The device will bring a 6.74-inch OLED Tianma U8+ display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, a 5500mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging tech.
The OnePlus Pad 2 is all set to launch with a 12.1-inch 144Hz 3K IPS panel, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, an 8MP front and 13MP rear camera setup. There’s a 9,500mAh battery under the hood with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging tech on-board.
Next up, we have a OnePlus Watch 2R. It will be based on the OnePlus Watch 2 taking up aluminum alloy, there’s no NFC and eSIM. It will run on a lightweight Wear OS software. Unfortunately, we aren’t aware of what the Watch 2R will bring to the table, although affordable pricing is expected on the ‘R-series’ watch out here. Finally, we have the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, a mid-range earbuds with ANC. It remains to be seen how ANC and mid-range pricing go hand-to-hand.
