Oppo unveiled its one of the most innovative flagship smartphone Oppo Find X at an official event in China. It took less than a month for the smartphone to launch in India and bring along a plethora of features. It is a stylish and out-of-the-box smartphone with a unique design and one of a kind sliding mechanism. It has a colored glass back panel, however, recently, a Twitter ‘K2 Gadgets’ user teased a transparent back cover on his Oppo Find X that looks extremely impressive.
The Twitterati wanted to get rid of colored sheet embossed on Find X’s back panel and that is when an idea to create a fully transparent panel with a clear view of all the components inside the phone hit him. The clear view panel enhances the overall appearance of Find X, although it doesn’t require much since its one of the most unique and stylish flagship smartphone in the market, however, the transparent panel successfully highlighted the sliding mechanism used by the device to pop up to reveal the front and rear camera setup along with other apertures.

Oppo Find X specifications and features
Talking about the specifications, there is much to talk about this innovative smartphone which is a 6.42-inches AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and 401 ppi density. The screen boasts a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and offers a mind-boggling 93.8% screen-to-body ratio when the slider is retracted. The smartphone feature a Panoramic Arc Screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection tested to survive multiple drops and currently, the most advanced and safe screen protection solution.
Under the hood, the smartphone boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with octa-core processors at 4×2.8 GHz and 4×1.7 GHz along with Adreno 630 GPU. The buyer gets a massive 8GB RAM with 128/256GB internal storage option, although it cannot be further expanded as there is no microSD slot available. There is a 512GB internal storage option available but its only with Automobili Lamborghini Edition which might not be available in India as of now.
About the optics, it sports a Dual 16MP (1/2.6”, OIS, f/2.0, 1.22µm) plus 20MP (f/2.0, 1.0µm, 1/2.8”) set up along with a 25MP with a focal length of 2.0 front camera. But there is a catch. You won’t spot any cameras on the online as they are hidden in a slider mechanism that pops up when needed. Users were bit worried about the wear and tear that will be caused to the slider mechanism, however, Oppo has assured that this mechanism was tested for its durability for more than 300,000 times.
Other features include a 9.4mm chassis that hosts a front and black glass panel with an aluminum frame weighing 186g.
