The announcement was made at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025. The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 introduces a new level of flagship mobile performance with its third-generation All-Big-Core CPU design. The CPU has a core structure of one 4.21GHz ultra-core, three premium cores, and four performance cores, designed for power and efficiency gains.

MediaTek states this design offers up to 32% faster single-core performance and 17% higher multi-core performance compared to the previous chip, while reducing peak power use by up to 55%. This boost is supported by the Arm G1-Ultra GPU, which provides 33% better graphics speed and 42% greater power efficiency, allowing for console-level ray tracing and smoother viewing for demanding games and multimedia.

OPPO has confirmed that the Find X9 series, along with the Dimensity 9500, will have a customized cooling system. This is key to ensuring the phone keeps its smooth and stable performance when doing intensive tasks like high-frame-rate gaming or 4K video editing.
