OPPO has officially announced that its upcoming Find X9 series with Dimensity 9500 will debut as the first smartphone lineup globally powered by MediaTek’s latest flagship chipset. The announcement was made at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025. OPPO and MediaTek gave details about their new partnership, which is focused on improving on-device AI, mobile camera features, and power efficiency.
Find X9 series with Dimensity 9500
The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 introduces a new level of flagship mobile performance with its third-generation All-Big-Core CPU design. The CPU has a core structure of one 4.21GHz ultra-core, three premium cores, and four performance cores, designed for power and efficiency gains.
MediaTek states this design offers up to 32% faster single-core performance and 17% higher multi-core performance compared to the previous chip, while reducing peak power use by up to 55%. This boost is supported by the Arm G1-Ultra GPU, which provides 33% better graphics speed and 42% greater power efficiency, allowing for console-level ray tracing and smoother viewing for demanding games and multimedia.
OPPO has confirmed that the Find X9 series, along with the Dimensity 9500, will have a customized cooling system. This is key to ensuring the phone keeps its smooth and stable performance when doing intensive tasks like high-frame-rate gaming or 4K video editing.
AI and imaging innovations
At the IMC 2025 event, MediaTek showed off the Dimensity 9500’s advanced AI processing and camera technology, which will improve both creative and everyday phone use.

- 4K Text-to-Image Generation
- AI-assisted video enhancement
These features use the latest Unreal Engine technologies, like Mega Light and Nanite, to bring console-quality visual realism and smoother graphics to mobile gaming and apps.
OPPO Find X9 series India launch
Following its debut in China on October 16, OPPO has confirmed that the Find X9 series will launch in India in November 2025. While the company has not yet given official prices or exact models, industry experts believe OPPO will offer different configurations of the Find X9 lineup to target various high-end market needs.
