As we enter a new month, we now have an exciting lineup of phones launching in June 2024. From flagship to mid-range to budget phones, the month of June 2024 packs a punch with a steady lineup of smartphones that you should be waiting for if you are in the mood to buy a new phone.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro

Vivo X Fold3 Pro has already arrived in China as the world’s slimmest foldable phone with a thickness of just 11.5mm. The phone weighs a mere 236g whereas Galaxy Z Fold5 is 253g in weight. Vivo’s X Fold3 Pro is slated to launch in India on June 6 with a fibre-based durable hinge capable of withstanding at least 500k operations which is equivalent to 12 years of usage.

Specs-wise, the foldable phone packs in an 8.3” primary display at 4500 nits of peak brightness, the brightest of any foldable phone yet. There’s a 6.53” AMOLED secondary display too, reprising its cover display. It is powered by 2023’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC along with 512GB UFS 4.0 storage and 16GB RAM. Android 14-powered Funtouch OS 14 handles the software part on the device.

A 5700mAh battery sits under the hood supplying power coupled with 100W wired charging. The phone even has 50W wireless charging tagging along. On the optics front, we have a 32MP selfie plus a 50MP triple rear camera arranged in a circular camera bump placed in the dead center of the back panel.

Xiaomi 14 Civi

Xiaomi 14 Civi Pro arrived in China earlier in March. Cut to now, it is all set to be launched as Xiaomi 14 Civi in India on June 12 with seemingly unchanged specs.

The phone uses a Snapdragon 8s Gen3 SoC under the hood. It comes paired with a 50MP primary, 50MP telephoto with 2x optical, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor at the back housed in a circular camera bump and calibrated by Leica. A 6.55” AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz panel sits at the back housing dual 32MP front cameras neatly packed in a pill-shaped cutout.

To be sold in Shadow Black, Matcha Green, and Cruise Blue colorways, the phone is touted as the first device to host a quad-curved display in its segment. A 4,700mAh battery sits under the hood paired with 67W Turbo Charge aligning its supercharging capabilities.

Oppo F27 Series

Tipster Mukul Sharma took it to X (formerly Twitter) stating Oppo’s next-gen F27 series will launch on June 13. Although the confirmation is yet pending, we could see the trio launching under this series aka F27, F27 Pro, and F27 Pro Plus. At least one of the trio will have either of IP67, IP68, or IP69 rating against water and dust. Moreover, the F27 Pro appears to be a rebranded version of Oppo A3 Pro launched in China earlier. 

Information regarding the entire Oppo F27 series is shrouded in mystery. We have heard about Dimensity 7050 SoC powering either F27 Pro or F27 Pro Plus along with a 64+2MP rear cam setup, a 5000mAh battery, plus 67W SuperVOOC charging tech. This series is likely a follow-up to the Oppo F25 series that made its debut earlier this year.

Realme GT6

If you believe in rebranding games, the Realme GT6 is a specimen. The phone is expected to arrive in India as an AI flagship smartphone killer with a Snapdragon 8s Gen3 SoC under the hood. The phone is a rebranded Realme GT Neo 6 that was released in China earlier.

It has a 6.78” AMOLED LTPO panel with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by a 5,500mAh battery under the hood paired with 100W SuperVOOC charging support (the Chinese version has 120W). As an AI flagship phone, it has a string of AI features including AI Smart Search, AI Smart Removal, AI Smart Loop, AI Night Vision and you know, everything else AI. Realme is marketing the device’s launch as “Power meets AI”.

Poco M6 Plus

The first of the ‘Plus’ variants arriving in Poco’s M-series, Poco M6 Plus is expected to arrive in India soon as the device was spotted on Bluetooth SIG signaling imminent launch. The phone, just like many other upcoming devices mentioned in this list, is reportedly a rebranded version of Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R.

If that’s true, we already know the specs as 13R made it to Chinese shores earlier this year. Poco M6 Plus will likely pack in a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC alongside up to 12GB RAM and maxing at 512GB of storage. A 6.78” FHD+ 120Hz LCD panel sits on top with a dual rear cam housing a 50MP and 2MP macro lens followed by an 8MP front camera. It has a 5,000mAh battery supplied with 18W wired charging to name a few.

Motorola Razr 50 Series

Motorola Razr 50 Gains TENAA Certification

Succeeding last year’s Razr 50 series, the Motorola Razr 50 series is rumored to arrive in June 2024 globally. The series comprises a vanilla Razr 50 5G sporting a giant 6.9” pOLED panel boasting 1080 × 2640 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. A 3.63” cover display sits comfortably on top when you aren’t using the flip phone to its entirety. A recently released Dimensity 7300x will handle the processing onboard shared with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.

On the optics front, we have a 50MP primary and 13MP ultrawide shooters at the back. The front has a 32MP shooter.

If you want to shell a bit more, Razr 50 Ultra 5G is arriving as well with a 4-inch pOLED cover panel and a 6.9” pOLED flip-able panel inside with a 165Hz refresh rate. Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC handles the processing alongside 512GB storage and 12GB RAM. A 4000mAH battery handles the power backup supplied with a 45W fast charging tech. Razr 50 Ultra has a 50+50MP rear dual-cam setup flanked with a 32MP front camera.

Honor 200 Series

Honor 200 series offers two models on the table — Honor 200 and 200 Pro that were launched in China earlier this year. Awaiting their Indian launch, Honor 200 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 while Honor 200 Pro gets a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC under the hood. On the display side, we have a 6.7” FHD+ curved OLED 120Hz on the vanilla model, and the Pro model maxes at 6.8” with identical specifics. 

The camera optics remain the same between the two models i.e., a 50MP front snapper, a 50MP OIS plus 12MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto with OIS triple rear camera setup. Another identical feature Honor 200 and 200 Pro share is the battery size of 5,200mAh plus 100W SuperCharge.

Honor Magic 6 Pro

Another smartphone likely arriving in India this month is Honor Magic 6 Pro. The phone features a 6.8” FHD+ curved OLED panel with a buzzing 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,000mAh peak brightness. The phone is powered by 2023’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC flanked with 512GB UFS 4.1 storage and 12GB LPDDR5X RAM. 

On the optics front, we have a triple rear camera consisting of a 50MP primary, 180MP telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide camera neatly tucked in a circular camera bump. I would say Honor is experimenting a lot in terms of camera bump design and Magic 6 Pro is one of the specimens yes, the phone has already been released in China and is awaiting its launch in India. 

Moto G85

Motorola will add another smartphone to its G-series. Dubbed as Moto G85, the phone sports a 6.67 “POLED FHD+ curved panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It houses a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC that powers the device alongside 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Note that some sources believe the phone will pick up a Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 SoC instead which is a minimal incremental upgrade over the SD4 Gen 2 SoC.

Following that, the phone is highly anticipated to bring onboard a 50MP primary plus 8MP ultrawide paired with a 32MP selfie shooter. A 5000mAh battery sits under the hood along with 33W fast charging support. As a successor to last year’s Moto G84, G85 is slated to reach the Indian shores this month priced at approx INR 25,000/-.
