Realme India launched a series of products at the September 9 launch event. The event comprises two smartphones and a tab that is Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i and a Realme Pad. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
Realme 8i Specifications
The first among the lot is the Realme 8i that features a new Helio G96 chipset which is manufactured on a 12nm process. It comes paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64/128GB of storage and has a microSD card slot too.
The device is paired with a 6.6-inch LCD FHD+ Dot Notch display with a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. There’s a 120Hz Smooth Display refresh rate on-board as well.
Moving on, Realme 8i packs in a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary shooter with 2MP B&W and 2MP macro shooter just like its sibling 8s 5G. There’s a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood paired with 18W fast charging tech as well.
You have two color options i.e. Space Purple and Space Black. There is two storage variant that is 4GB+64GB at INR13,999/- while the higher 6GB+128GB is available at INR15,999/- and it will start shipping on September 14 on Flipkart, Realme.com, and mainline channels.
Realme 8s 5G Specifications
Realme has launched Realme 8s 5G with Dimensity 810 SoC that makes it the first-ever smartphone to sport the chipset. It is an octa-core chipset with up to 2.4GHz of frequency and Mali-G57 GPU. There’s 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and the storage of 128GB but you can expand it further using a memory card slot.
The device arrives with a triple rear camera setup which includes a 64MP primary shooter and two 2MP auxiliary shooters for macro and B&W photography.
Realme 8s 5G is equipped with a 6.5-inch LCD panel housing a punch-hole cut-out which is also dubbed as a dot notch. There’s a 16MP selfie shooter housed inside the dot notch. The display is rated with FHD+ resolution and has a 60Hz of refresh rate.
Moving on, we have a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood supplied with a whopping 33W fast charging tech that uses a USB-C port. Connectivity features like Bluetooth v5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, 5G connectivity that includes all popular bands, GPS, and finally, runs on Android 11-backed Realme UI 2.0 on top of it.
Speaking about the pricing, the phone arrives in two trims i.e. 6GB+128GB at INR17,999/- while the larger 8GB+128GB is available at INR19,999/- through Flipkart and the first sales commence on September 13 at noon. Realme Pad 2021 Specifications
Realme Pad was one of the most anticipated product launches for sure. It brings a beefy 10.4-inch WUXGA+ IPS LCD panel with a 2000×1200 pixels resolution with an 82.5 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The pad arrives with Realme UI for Pad based on Android 11 which is custom-made to support a larger display. It runs on MediaTek Helio G80 SoC with 3/4GB of RAM and storage trims available are 32GB and 64GB with an expandable memory card slot available with it.
According to the specs sheet, the pad arrived with a 7,100 mAh battery on-board paired with an 18W charging tech which should take not less than 3 hours to juice up. There’s reverse charging support too in case you want to charge another device with your tablet.
You get an array of two 8MP HD cameras on the tab. Along with it, you have four speakers aligned on four corners with Dolby Atmos adaptive surround sound for superior audio performance.
You can choose between Real Grey and Real Gold color variants. The 3GB+32GB Wi-Fi variant is available at INR13,999 or $190. The 3GB+32GB variant with both LTE and Wi-Fi is available at INR15,999 or $215. Finally, the largest trim with 4GB+64GB storage and LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity goes on sale at INR17,999/- or $245.
The first-ever sale of Realme Pad commences on September 16 at noon on Flipkart, Realme.com, and offline stores in India.
