Oppo’s Ace series is a flagship lineup under the Chinese brand. Oppo Ace3 was the third flagship to join the rank in the second half of this year, however, it didn’t materialize. The Ace flagship series was transferred to Realme. A new Ace3 is expected to arrive soon and we might have just got among the first leaks about it.
According to a reputed leakster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Realme Ace flagship smartphone will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875. The leakster mentioned a few more details about the upcoming device such as it will sport fast charging. Although the report doesn’t mention any specific charging speed, we know that current flagship devices are capped at 65W fast charging tech so we can expect to get a higher charging speed with Ace3. Realme has already showcased a 125W UltraDart fast charging technology capable of juicing up a 4000 mAh battery from zero to 33 percent in just 3 minutes. It remains to be if that’s the case with the upcoming Ace3 as well.
According to GizmoChina, Realme is also heading towards the launch of its flagship series Realme X60 series as the X50 series arrived earlier this year. The Realme X60 series is expected to arrive in Q1 2021. Is it to be seen if we either see Ace3 or a Realme X60 with Snapdragon 875 SoC.

Digital Chat Station said that the upcoming Realme phone sports a great CMF (colors, materials, and finishes). It will sport a thin chassis thanks to its ultra-premium segment. In a previous report, photos dropped on Weibo showcased Ace3 with a circular camera setup at the back and a punch-hole cut-out display.
To summarize, the Oppo Ace2 released in April 2020 sports a Snapdragon 865 SoC, Adreno 560 GPU, 8/12GB RAM and a 128/256GB, a 48+8+2+2MP rear camera setup, and a 16MP front camera housed in a top-left corner punch-hole cut-out.
The phone sports a 6.55” AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1080×2400 pixels resolution, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on-board. A 4000 mAh battery under the hood is adjoined with a 65W Super VOOC 2.0 charging tech capable of charging the battery in 30 minutes. The upcoming Ace3 will add on these specifications given the fact that it will be a successor of the previous gen.
