It is already official that Realme GT 5G will be announced on March 4. We have already seen a yellow leather variant of the phone that was snapped at the MWC 2021. Cut to now, Realme has officially released a teaser and posters that officially reveal that Realme GT 5G which is in-line with the leather variant that was spotted earlier.
The video which is obviously in Chinese shows Realme GT 5G in a Blue-colored variant and looks flamboyant. The Chinese smartphone maker did mention that GT 5G will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and it is heavily implied in the teaser video as well. What we can confer with the short 30-second teaser is that the phone will sport a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apart from that, the power button is visible, diminishing the chances that it will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Thus, the device will have an OLED panel with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
There’s a USB Type-C port at the bottom capable of charging the battery at a speed of whopping 65W according to previous reports. The video shows Yang Mi who is a Chinese actress teasing the phone although that’s something Realme has been doing for ages now.
As of now, we know that the Realme GT 5G which is also known as Realme Race bearing model number RMX2022 will arrive with Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. SD888 is manufactured on a 5nm node and has a Cortex-A1 core that collectively improves its performance.
The device will pack in a 256GB UFS 3.1 storage along with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The device will arrive in China at first before arriving on the global market. It packs in a triple camera setup arranged as a vertical stack on a rectangular camera bump with the primary 64MP sensor attached to it. Realme GT 5G is all set to arrive on March 4.
