realme has officially confirmed the realme GT 8 Pro India launch date for November 20, introducing the RICOH GR-powered camera system co-developed with RICOH IMAGING. This collaboration brings professional-grade elements from the renowned RICOH GR series, known for its sharp optics and lifelike tonal rendering, into a smartphone experience.

The standout feature of the GT 8 Pro is its imaging system, co-developed with RICOH IMAGING, the brand behind the iconic RICOH GR cameras. This collaboration introduces professional-grade optical technology to smartphones for the first time.
At the heart of the system is an ultra-high transparency lens group built to RICOH GR standards, which deliver sharper clarity, less glare, and better light transmission. The GT 8 Pro also features a dedicated RICOH GR Mode with two classic focal lengths, 28mm and 40mm, and five exclusive GR Tones that recreate the signature look of RICOH’s premium compact cameras.
realme says this co-developed system is designed to offer a DSLR-like shooting experience in a smartphone, narrowing the divide between professional photography and mobile imaging.

The smartphone will also debut a paper-like leather back panel made from recycled plastics and textiles. With Photonic Nano-Carving technology, the surface gains a refined texture that boosts both grip and durability while maintaining a premium feel.
The realme GT 8 Pro will be available in two color options, Diary White and Urban Blue, each designed to reflect a balance of minimalism style. These finishes complement the device’s customizable camera bump and textured eco-leather back, rounding out its premium look.
