Back in June, during the global launch of the Realme GT, the company has announced its plans to launch its first-ever tablet which is currently in development and might launch very soon. Realme has even released a teaser poster for the same and it will be launched alongside the company’s first laptop, Realme Book. While we are waiting for more details about this upcoming tablet, alleged Realme Pad live images have now surfaced online.
The device has been spotted in the hands of an unidentified user who probably is testing the Realme Pad’s camera capabilities. As it is in the development stage, there are a few stickers and labels on various parts of the device suggesting internal testing.
It is worth noting that there is no Realme logo anywhere. But, the design itself matches with the device which the company has teased last month. Talking about the design itself, it quickly reminded me of the iPad Air 4 from both the teaser and the live images. From these leaked images, we get to see both the front and backside of the device.
Although the pictures aren’t the most detailed ones, we can understand that the back is made out of metal. The camera is located on the top left corner and there is a noticeable bump to it. Realme was always great with its smartphone designs and we can expect the same here. Almost all the Realme phones that are available in the market right now feature either a glass or plastic back with unique gradient color patterns.
On the front though, the front has sizable top and bottom bezels. But then again, this is definitely not the final design considering bezels are not modern. That’s pretty much what we can understand about the device from these leaked images.
Just like the iPads and Android tablets we’ve seen in the past, we can expect the company to use a modified version of Realme UI on this tablet. While some reports suggest that the Realme Pad might come with a Snapdragon 870 SoC, we strongly believe that this model could be a midrange one. In the current market scenario, the demand for tablets is more but there is very little competition. We expect more Chinese manufacturers to launch tablets of their own in the coming few months.
