The South Korean giant just released another smartphone in the A-series. Dubbed the Galaxy A04s, it is an upgrade over Galaxy A04 and a successor to Galaxy A03s which made its debut last year. Although the pricing and availability are uncertain as no information is available on that department, let us take you through the specifications that the phone brings onboard.

Samsung Galaxy A04s Pricing and Availability

As of now, there’s no update on the pricing for the dev/ce available so if you are interested, you will have to wait for an update. Apart from that, the phone is listed in Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Sweden but its availability is yet to be confirmed at the time of writing this. For color options, you get Green, White, Black, and Copper although only the first two are mentioned on Samsung’s online store for now.

Samsung Galaxy A04s Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A04s brings onboard an octa-core SoC under the hood. Although the maker has mentioned the inclusion of eight Cortex-A55 cores, Samsung hasn’t made the actual name of the processor public yet. We are hoping that it is Exynos 850 which is a sureshot upgrade over Helio P35. On the software side, we have a slightly watered down OneUI 4.1 Core based on Android 12 out-of-the-box.

Moving on, the motherboard has 3GB and 4GB RAM options along with 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of internal storage options. You can still use a microSD card to get to 1TB of storage so store whatever you want.

Next up, the display is another upgrade right here. Although it brings the same 6.5” PLS LCD 720×1600 pixels panel, Samsung has included a 90Hz refresh rate amped up from the standard 60Hz so that’s something you would flex. There’s a 5MP selfie cam within the V-shaped notch as usual.

When it comes to the rear camera setup, Samsung has gone for a triple camera setup (again) which includes a 50MP main cam, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. All that is arranged vertically and without a camera bump so yes, there are three separate camera lenses raised a tad bit above the plastic-heavy rear panel which has a matte finish to it.

Let’s talk about the battery under the hood. You get a 5,000mAh battery with this unit along with USB-C for casual charging speed. Although it is an upgrade over microUSB port, getting slightly faster charging support would have meant a lot.

Lastly, the connectivity features onboard are dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack Dolby Atmos support, and so on. There’s a fingerprint scanner on the side that makes it snappy to unlock the phone at your will.
