Starting from March 28, 2024, Samsung intends to cover up the devices within the technological framework of the new Galaxy AI across more device ranges. With the release of One UI 6.1 software update, which can be counted as a deliberate move, older models, such as Galaxy S23 series, Z Flip 5, Z Flod 5, and Tab S9 series, get other functionalities just like the convenience of the Circle to Search, Chat Embed, and Generative Edit.

In their recent web statement, Samsung reiterated how this update was a priority for them. Not wanting to alienate anyone with advanced AI features, Samsung knows that the best way to achieve that is by making these tools available across various device formats.

This with added features is expected to bring older devices at par with the latest Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy AI features included in the One UI 6.1 update fall into three categories: cooperation, useful work, and creativity.

One aspect of Galaxy AI is Feature Chat Assist, which allows you to change the types of your messages and translate them in real-time; Live Translate, which offers real-time text and voice translation during phone calls; and Interpreter, for helping face-to-face conversations with those who don’t speak the same language.

Regarding the productivity tool, Google brings circle to search, letting users draw a line around the items displayed on their screen to receive relevant information. The latest version also comes up with more productivity features which include Note Assist, Browsing Assist, and Transcript Assist.
