Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro with 28-hour battery life, IPX7 rating might launch alongside the Galaxy S21 series

Ever since the launch of the Galaxy Note 20 series, we’ve been seeing quite a lot of leaks and rumors around the launch of the company’s next flagship series – Galaxy S21. Samsung might unveil the Galaxy S21. Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra on January 14. During the same event, the company is also expected to unveil its Galaxy Buds Pro. Galaxy Buds Pro is not totally new to us as some of its specifications had surfaced in the official support page list. Now, a new leak from 91Mobiles in partnership with Ishan Agarwal has revealed all the important specifications of the upcoming Buds.

According to 91Mobiles and Ishan, the Galaxy Buds Pro will be coming with 20 percent more battery life compared to last year’s Galaxy Buds Live. Both the earbuds on the Pro variant is expected to have a 61 mAh battery and its case may include a 472 hours battery backup. the Buds Pro may offer 28 hours of battery life. As for the audio performance, the leak states that the Galaxy Buds Pro will come with 11mm bass drivers and 6.5mm tweeters coupled with coaxial dual speakers. The Buds Pro will come with an Active Noise Cancellation and it will also bring a 35db noise canceling feature. By this time now we already know that the Galaxy Buds Pro will support multiple levels of ANC.

The leak further adds that the Buds Pro will come equipped with IPX7 water-resistance, dual connection, voice detection, and seamless connection too. Do note that the 3D spatial audio with head tracking will only be supported on the devices running One UI 3.0 which is based on Android 11. We can also expect the company to offer various features including Find My Earbuds, Gyro sensors, touch controls, Dolby Atmos, and ambient mode with four-volume settings.

As far as the pricing is concerned, we can expect the Buds Pro to cost more than the Galaxy Buds Live. In Europe, the Galaxy Buds Pro could be priced at 229 Euros ($279) which roughly translates to 20,657 INR in India. The Galaxy Buds Pro will be made available in Phantom Black and Phantom Silver color options and will be made available as bundled pre-orders with the Galaxy S21 devices.
