Extending its J series, it looks like Samsung is going to launch a 2017 variant of the Galaxy J7 anytime soon. Surprisingly, the Galaxy J7 (2017) has now been spotted on a benchmarking site GFXBench, revealing almost all the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
The listing on GFXBench reveals that the model number of the upcoming Samsung device to be SM-J727A. According to the leaked Benchmark result, the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC, with each core clocked at 1.5 GHz along with ARM Mali-T830 integrated GPU. Also, the device packs 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage.
According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) will feature a 5.5″ inch display with 1280x720p resolution. It is said to sport an 8 MP rear camera as well as a 5 MP front camera. On the connectivity front, the device supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS. And, the smartphone features an accelerometer, compass, gyroscope and proximity sensors.
