Samsung is gearing up for the new year with a slew of releases. After discontinuing its J-series, Samsung launched M-series and has been frequently updating the series. Reports suggest that Samsung is working on three new M-series smartphones namely Galaxy M11, M21, and M31 that will be released in early 2020. These smartphones are actually successors to Galaxy M10, M20, and M30 that were released in 2019 respectively.

With that being said, the Galaxy M21 which bears the model number SM-M215F is reportedly getting a boost to 64GB and 128GB of internal storage variants. This goes in-line with what Samsung claimed last year that it’s 2020 smartphones will get 64GB as the base variant instead of sticking to 32GB which is almost nothing even if you are an average user. This gives Galaxy M21 and edges over Galaxy M20’s 32GB and 64GB of internal storage.

Samsung hasn’t revealed any specifications about the smartphone yet but we do know that Galaxy M21 will arrive with Android 10-based One UI 2.0 and will feature a triple camera setup at the back which is also in-line with what Samsung has done with almost all M-series of smartphones released in a few weeks. Apart from that, the phone will also feature Samsung’s in-house Exynos 9610 or 9611 processor to go with it.

One of the confirmed bits that we found thanks to the various sources is the color variants that the trio will offer. All the models will have Blue and Black as a common color while the third color will vary. Galaxy M11 will get Violet while M21 gets Green and finally, Galaxy M31 gets Red as its third color variants. Note that this doesn’t mean Samsung cannot expand the color variants available with these models so that’s the thing. Also, upcoming Galaxy M-series are likely to get a punch-hole front camera setup as well which will run throughout 2020.

Apart from the trio, Samsung is reportedly working on Galaxy M51 as well that bears model number SM-M515F. Similarly, Samsung Galaxy M41, the successor to last year’s Galaxy M40, might be in the works as well.

According to the timeline, both Galaxy M10 and M20 were released last year in January in India which means January 2020 seems to be an appropriate launch window as the upgrade is already due. Samsung is also launching its next flagship Galaxy S11 series in February just like every year alongside Galaxy Fold 2 that will go on sale immediately after the event at a price tag of around $1,000 in South Korea although the launch date for the same in the US and Europe is still covered under mystery. 2020 will be a great year for Samsung has it has already planned for a few launches this year.
