After the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M02, a new smartphone has been spotted on the FCC certification website with the model number SM-M62F/DS and by semantics, the device will be named as Samsung Galaxy M62. The device in the making has been revealed to have a 7,000 mAh battery under the hood.

According to the FCC listing, the said M62 with model number SM-M62F/DS sports a 25W charger in the box along with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. The device is likely to get a massive 7,000 mAh battery as it has been spotted on FCC with model number EB-B415ABY. If your horns are tingling that’s because the same battery model number is available on Samsung Galaxy M41 as well.

According to MyFixGuide, the Galaxy M62 is likely packing either a punch-hole on the top or a notch at the center thanks to the live images leaked earlier. The device is also Dual SIM and thus, it will pack in two SIM card support as usual.

On the flip side, we have seen model number SM-E625F/DS on a US regulator’s website which hints that Samsung is working on a smartphone with two monikers. The U.S. version is likely to be named Galaxy F62.

The listing on FCC doesn’t give a lot of information but when it comes to Geekbench, we have plenty of information to churn. The U.S. version is expected to pick on Exynos 9825 SoC under the hood along with 6GB RAM and Android 11 out-of-the-box. If both the devices are the same, we will see Exynos 9825 or probably its Qualcomm Snapdragon equivalent to arrive with non-US Galaxy M62 as well.

As of now, we aren’t aware of details concerning the chipset, display, and other specifications but we will surely see a mid-range phone with affordable pricing once the M62 or F62 arrives in the market.
