The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge launched officially today during a global online event, marking the latest addition to Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series. With a sleek 5.8 mm titanium frame and top-of-the-line performance, the Galaxy S25 Edge is designed for power users who prioritize design, durability, and smart mobile experiences.
Design meets flagship durability
At just 5.8 mm thick and weighing 163g, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge stands out as the slimmest phone in the Galaxy S lineup to date. Despite its thin profile, the device is built for durability, featuring a titanium frame and the new Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2 on its front.
The 6.7-inch Quad HD+ LTPO AMOLED 2X display supports an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The edge-to-edge panel delivers immersive viewing with precise color accuracy, making it ideal for both content consumption and creative work.
Pro-grade camera system with AI integration
Continuing the Galaxy legacy in mobile photography, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge introduces a 200MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 2x optical-quality zoom. The large sensor improves low-light photography, delivering 40% brighter images in challenging conditions. A 12MP ultra-wide camera supports autofocus for crisp macro shots, while the 12MP front camera is tailored for sharp selfies and video calls.
Samsung’s ProVisual Engine and Galaxy AI features enable real-time photo enhancements, natural skin tones, and creative editing tools such as Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist.
Elite performance in a compact frame
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is powered by the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, a 3 nm chip optimized by Qualcomm Technologies. Paired with 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage, it offers top-tier performance for multitasking, gaming, and AI-driven applications.
A redesigned vapor chamber helps manage heat efficiently, maintaining performance even during extended usage. Samsung has also integrated its ProScaler technology and mobile Digital Natural Image engine (mDNIe), improving display image quality by 40% and making on-screen visuals even more lifelike.
AI-driven smart experiences with Galaxy AI
Samsung’s proprietary Galaxy AI plays a central role in the S25 Edge experience. From productivity to personalization, AI tools enhance everyday use. Features like Now Brief and Now Bar adapt to user behavior and offer contextual prompts, reminders, and third-party app integrations.
Samsung’s collaboration with Google introduces Gemini Live, enabling real-time interactions with the AI assistant via screen sharing or camera input. Importantly, all AI tasks prioritize privacy with on-device processing secured by Samsung Knox Vault.
