Here, we are summing up everything you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra launch, its features, specs, prices, and beyond.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra specs, features & more
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, being at the top of the Galaxy S26 series, brings the best specs on a flagship phone. For starters, the display is a 6.9” Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel boasting a resolution of 3,120×1,440 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. Previous leaks already confirmed a new USP feature onboard the S26 Ultra, i.e., the Privacy Display that restricts visibility on the screen—we will talk more about it in a later section.
Coming back to the specs, we have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC under the hood, which is the only chipset across all regions. There’s 1TB of storage, up to 16GB of RAM, and One UI 8.5-powered Android 16 out of the box with a ton of features under Galaxy AI. This includes Photo Assist, Audio Eraser, Call Screening, and Now Nudge, to name a few.
On the optics front, we have a quad rear camera setup headed by a 200MP shooter with OIS and an aperture of f/1.4, capable of capturing 47 percent more light than before. Moving on, we have a 50MP periscope telephoto cam with 5x optical zoom, a tertiary 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and finally, we have a 10MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom and an aperture of f/2.4. At the front, we are hosted by a 12MP shooter with 4K video recording capability.

The phone comes with 8K video recording and a Super Steady Video recording mode with 360-degree horizontal lock stabilization that simply works out of this world.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra battery specs include a 5,000mAh battery with 60W fast charging tech and 25W wireless charging. This is a major upgrade over the 45W wired and 15W wireless charging on board the S25 Ultra, while keeping the battery capacity the same.
An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner takes care of your biometrics. The phone comes with an S Pen as well, just like its predecessors.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is 214g in weight, a 4g drop compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It is also much slimmer at 7.9mm – compared to 8.2mm on the S25 Ultra. The phone enjoys one of the largest vapor chambers on the device that takes care of its efficiency and performance when subjected to heavy usage, such as during Galaxy AI use or gaming.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s privacy display is at an all-time high
The talk of the town is surely the ‘Privacy Display’ on board the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Unlike other phones, wherein we would require an external privacy screen protector, the S26 Ultra brings one built-in using AI and hardware under the helm. The feature dims parts of the screen when someone is trying to view it at an angle, preventing prying eyes from reading your chats, watching videos, or snooping on your screen.

The feature has multiple settings and can be toggled manually based on user preferences. It uses pixel-level implementation to control how it disperses light, which provides impeccable viewing when viewed straight on but dims the pixels when viewed from the sides.
