- The Galaxy Z Fold7 is rumored to feature a thinner body (4.5mm unfolded), a stronger display with new composite layers, and slightly larger 8” inner and 6.5” outer screens.
- Leaks suggest a 200MP main camera and an upgraded under-display front camera, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 “Elite for Galaxy” chip.
- The device is expected to offer better water and dust resistance (likely IP68/IP69), along with improvements in the vibration motor and speaker system.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 leak continues intensifying as the device prepares for its massive debut in July. We recently heard it will be packed with Android 16 out-of-the-box paired with One UI 8.0 and now, we are seeing more upgrades on-board the foldable device, ensuring we all wait eagerly for the phone to arrive.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Leak Shows Off What’s Cooking Now
According to tipster Anthony (@TheGalox_), the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 will bring a couple of upgrades as it prepares for the launch in July. First up, the latest rumor claims that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 will have an improved under-the-display front camera sensor. It will have a ‘stronger display with new layers’ possibly hinting at the better display tech probably using composite materials.
We have heard about a smaller crease on-board as well, which is exciting to see given Samsung has come a long way since its original Fold launched a few years ago.
Moving further, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 leaks suggest improved water and dust resistance. We could say we will be getting an IP68/IP69 rating although exactly how it will be better, is something we need to figure out. There’s an upgraded vibration motor and speakers on-board Galaxy Z Fold7 as well, although there are no specifics available at the time of writing this.

The tipster further mentions a thinner build at 4.5 mm when the book-style foldable device is unfolded, excluding the camera assembly. It hints that the next-gen Fold7 will be slightly thinner than the predecessor, although we will have to wait for the official beat to be out soon.
Moving on, the tweet also mentions a 6.5” outer and an 8” inner display, which is slightly bigger than the predecessor’s 6.3” and 7.6”, respectively. It remains to be seen if the tipster has taken the rounded-off values for the tweet, or if we will exactly get what is being proposed here.
Another confirmed piece of information is its Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy AP that we will be getting on-board Galaxy Z Fold7. Another point drawing parallels with the Galaxy S25 lineup is the fact that Fold7 will be getting a 200MP primary camera as well.
Samsung has been building its suite of foldable devices for years. The latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 leaks put a lot of highlights on the device as it prepares to be ‘unfolded’ sometime in July this year. It will be competing against some of the Chinese rivals from Oppo, Huawei, and OnePlus, among others, so it will be a great sight to behold exactly how it all pans out.
