Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 leaks just got wilder. We got our hands on what seems like the first-ever live images showing the upcoming foldable in its entirety. The phone is slated to launch on July 9 at the Unpacked 2025 event, although the recent leaks put the device in the limelight ahead of launch.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Live Images Appears Online Showing its Ultra-thin Profile
Jukan Choi, an X user (formerly Twitter) shared real-life photos of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7. Although there’s nothing much to confirm since there are no specs mentioned, the photos themselves are self-explanatory.
Clad in a rich and vibrant blue color, the upcoming foldable phone is visible across multiple angles — front, back, and sides. The retail unit appears to have its displays covered to protect them from the elements, although other parts are still visible.
The live images show a vertically stacked triple rear camera shooter, just as the Z Fold6. In fact, the Z Fold7 has a protruding camera bump with silver-colored rings around its triple shooters. Well, some tech enthusiasts are finding it better to go for a flat back, although there’s a mixed response.
The latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 leaks show its ultra-thin profile at around 4.2 mm. Although it doesn’t make Fold7 yet, you’ll still be stunned knowing the massive reduction in size compared to Fold6’s 5.6 mm when unfolded. Moreover, the phone is also lighter at 215g compared to its predecessor’s 239g. It goes without saying that Samsung has made quite a few (and impressive) upgrades on the upcoming foldable device.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Leaked Specifications
Coming to the specs, we do have an estimated list that you can check out. The phone is likely to host an 8.2” primary and a 6.5” cover display. There’s Snapdragon 8 Elite under the hood with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. This is great, especially knowing that it’s another foldable sibling, i.e., Flip7, will stick to an Exynos variant instead.
On the software front, we see Z Fold7 will get Android 16-paired One UI 8.0 out of the box. Don’t forget that Samsung offers 7 major OS upgrades and security updates on its flagship devices, so you are pretty much covered for more than half a decade from now.
Z Fold7 is expected to feature a 200MP primary cam, a 10MP 3x telephoto shooter, and a 12MP ultrawide camera at the back. There are 10MP + 4MP dual selfie shooters as well, one for each display.
Watch out for Unpacked 2025 coverage on True-Tech as we bring all that’s going to launch at the event on July 9.
