When we talk about tablets, the first thing that comes to the mind of most of the people is an iPad. This is because of the immense popularity Apple iPad series has gained. On the other hand, Android tablets aren’t much popular. The primary reason is the specifications and features they come with. Most Android tablets don’t offer many high-end specifications, and nor do they come with a price tag as high as Apple’s iPads. The Tab S6 launched by Samsung last year was one of the few Android flagship tabs that came with some high-end specifications, and, a high-end price as well. Now, Samsung has launched a new 5G variant of this tab, which is the first 5G enabled tablet in the world. It is dubbed as Samsung Tab S6 5G and has been launched only in South Korea as of now.
The Tab S6 5G comes with the same specifications as on the Tab S6. The only major difference is that it has the Snapdragon’s new X50 5G modem. To recall, the Tab S6 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform. It has a big 10.5-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with 1600x2560p screen resolution and comes with HDR 10+ support. S-pen is also included in the tab, which gets attached to the back of it. For photography lovers, the tab doesn’t disappoint either. It has a dual-camera setup on the back with 13+5 MP wide and ultra-wide lenses. The Tab S6 comes with a huge 7,040 mAh battery that supports fast charging via a Type-C port.
Currently, only the 6+128 GB variant is available, and there isn’t any information about the global availability of this device. It is priced at KRW 999,900 / $850. If purchased before March 31, the customers will be granted certain benefits that also include the Samsung Book Cover keyboard as a freebie.
