Qualcomm seems to be working on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile platform instead of the rumored Snapdragon 8s Elite. The specified chipset is supposed to be a successor to last year’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 leak reveals a flagship but substandard chip
In comparison to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which adopts custom Oryon cores in a 2+6 configuration, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 carries a 1+3+2+2 core configuration. However, the CPU is likely to consist of:

- 3x Cortex-A720 performance cores at 3.01GHz
- 2x Cortex-A720 performance cores at 2.80GHz
- 2x Cortex-A720 efficiency cores at 2.02GHz
For graphics, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 might boast an Adreno 825 GPU. Here, it uses the same graphics as in the Snapdragon 8 Elite, but with fewer cores.
