After all, it is a fact that the product is as good as it is priced at. And we know that gaming consoles are generally priced lower compared to gaming PCs while having similar specifications since the idea is to sell games and accessories and make money on them. The official announcement or the launch of Sony PS5 is still a long way off so Amazon France listing the product on their site is strange. But we are not complaining as the price of this console was seen and it might start at 499€. Those wondering about the US pricing of the Sony PS5 from this leak, the idea here is that the prices of the console in US markets will be similar or lower. Therefore, it is more than likely the Sony PS5 will start at USD 499 but we might see a lower starting price. Sony PS5’s digital edition pricing was also leaked which is 399€ on Amazon France meaning it might be the same for the US which will be USD 399.
On top of that, Amazon France showed the availability of Sony PS5’s digital and normal edition from November 20, 2020, which might be the launch date limited to France or worldwide. The launch date, as well as pricing, also falls in line with earlier reports that talked about Sony PS5’s pricing and it is likely that the Xbox Series X will start in the same price segment too.
