Sony Xperia 1, X10, X10 Plus Hands on Photos surfaced; Ahead of today’s launch!

After Samsung & LG showcased its products at MWC, now it’s Sony’s turn to announce new range of next-gen Xperia smartphones. Based on what we have heard so far, the company is expected to take wraps off at least four smartphones, the Xperia 10, Xperia 10 Plus,  Xepria 1 and the Xperia L3. Despite the fact that we are too close of its launch, the rumor mill for the upcoming Sony phones is not loosing the pace, and now the real life pictures of the Xperia line up has been leaked online.

The picture you see above is that of the Xperia 10 & & 10 Plus, and as you can see the design language correlates with the leaked renders revealed recently. The devices can be seen with its retail packages, revealing a 21:9 Cinema wide display. The screen can be seen with minimal bezels all around, though there’s a pretty thick top bezel, housing front cameras and an earpiece. The display of the Xperia 10 is expected to be of 6-inches, while the ‘10 plus’ is expected to sport a 6.5-inch panel.

The leaked images shows off the devices with a horizontally aligned dual camera setup accompanied by a flash above the sensors. The Xperia 10 is expected to feature a 13-megapixel primary shooter, combined with a 5-megapixel secondary camera. While the Xperia 10 Plus is expected to feature a 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel camera setup at the rear with double optical zoom and bokeh effects. It is worth mentioning that the images didn’t highlights a fingerprint sensor at the back, so it could be at the side as suggested by earlier rumors.

The Xperia 10 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 630 SoC, while the Xperia 10 Plus is likely to have Snapdragon 636 under the hood. In terms of battery, the Xperia 10 is expected to boast a 2,870mAh battery while the ‘10 plus’ could pack a 3,000 mAn battery. Both the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus come with side-mounted fingerprint sensors.

In addition to Xperia 10 and the 10 plus, the live pictures of the flagship Xperia 1 (above) has been also surfaced, that shows the device with a design resembling to the recent trends. The images shows the phone with the same 21:9 screen, which is expected to be an OLED panel of 6.5-inches, supporting 4K HDR resolution. Over the back the phone can be seen with a reflective glass back, housing a vertically aligned triple camera setup. The fingerprint sensor on the handset is expected to be at the side.

The Xperia 1 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The device is expected to sport a triple 12-megapixel shooters at the rear, in which one of them is expected to be a super wide angle lens and the other could be a telephoto lens. The smartphone will be capable of recording 4K HDR videos in 21:9 cinema format. On the front there could be an 8 megapixel shooter for selifes. As of now, we aren’t certain about the pricing, so you can wait for the official launch of the device happening today.
