A day before its specs sheet could appear, the Chinese manufacturer Vivo has released marketing images with a plethora of exciting information about the upcoming Vivo X23. The tease for the new smartphone shows that it sports a fourth-generation in-display fingerprint scanner that will have a greater recognizing capability and faster speeds compared to the previous generation of a fingerprint scanner.

The marketing images are truly intriguing and have targeted the best features of the upcoming Vivo X23. The smartphone has a 91.2% screen-to-body ratio with tiny bezels around all sides although the bottom bezel seems comparatively taller. Referring to the images, we can say that Vivo has chosen a front and back glass design for its upcoming Vivo X23 with tear-shaped AMOLED display similarly to Oppo’ R17 and upcoming OnePlus 6T and coincidentally, all these three smartphone manufacturers belong to the same group ‘BBK Electronics’.

Further, the rear panel has a dual-camera setup with a vertically placed lens on the top-right corner with a LED flash. The best thing about the rear cameras is that one of the sensors has a super wide-angle lens which is something OnePlus 6 lacks even after offering a 16+20MP rear dual-camera setup. The rear cameras have Artificial Intelligence that offers scene recognition and host of other features that makes it an alluring feature to have. The front camera is placed inside a tiny notch that Vivo, Oppo, and even OnePlus has opted for instead for popular iPhone X-styled notch.

The smartphone will be available in Blue, Pink and/or Violet color palette embossed under the rear glass similar to Vivo NEX S that changes tones depending upon the lighting conditions. The complete specs sheet will be available tomorrow i.e. on August 21 on Vivo’ official website. For now, the OEM has listed the phone for which, pre-orders will start soon along with a plethora of offers including a JBL Horizon Bluetooth speaker.
