Xiaomi has finally released its Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro in China and it is different from the international variant. It has a massive upgrade with the inclusion of MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC chipset and a blazing fast 67W charging. Here’s everything you need to know about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro (China).

Xiaomi has included a 6.67-inch LCD panel with a 120 refresh rate. I must say that this is a downgrade from the AMOLED panel used in the international variant. Anyways, the device uses a Gorilla Glass Victus which is ahead of the v5 in terms of durability and reliability.
The biggest change in the Chinese variant is the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. For the uninitiated, the international variant uses UFS 2.2 storage that sees a major upgrade as well.
Next up, the device packs in a 5000 mAh battery under the hood and gets a 67W fast charging support and brick in the retail box. For comparison, the international variant uses a 33W fast charging tech which means the Chinese variant will juice up the battery twice as fast.
Next up, we have a triple camera setup at the back. The setup includes a 64MP primary snapper along with an 8MP ultrawide with a 120-degree FoV secondary sensor and a 2MP depth tertiary camera setup. Apparently, Xiaomi decided to cut back on the giant 108MP primary shooter somehow to include a smaller 64MP sensor on it. Here, the support for 1080p video recording has been extended to 120fps as well as 720p@960fps. The Dual-LED dual-tone flash is now available as well.
The front camera setup is the same at 16MP with f/2.5 aperture, however, HDR support has been added to it as well. With that, the dimensions have changed as well. The newer China-centric Note 10 Pro is now 0.8mm thicker, 0.6mm has been laid off its width and it is now 0.7mm shorter than the international variant.
Moving on, we have an Android 11-powered MIUI 12.5 OS out-of-the-box. Both Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 have some of the best features and no doubt the Redmi Note 10 Pro Chinese variant is inching closer to Android 12 and MIUI 13 upgrade in the near future.
Xiaomi has changed a few other specs as well. There’s no 3.5mm headphone jack now. The stereo speaker setup on-board the device is now tuned by JBL. With the Redmi Note 10 Pro (China), it now supports Wi-Fi 6 with dual-band along with Bluetooth v5.2 with LE and A2DP. There’s also extended support to QZSS in the list of all supported navigation systems. The NFC is now available and the radio is gone.
Talking about the pricing, the Chinese Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is available in its home country at CNY 1,499 or $234 for its base 6GB+128GB variant while the higher 8GB+128GB variant is available at CNY 1,799 or $281. Finally, the top-tier 8GB+256GB variant goes on sale at CNY 1,999 or $312 in China and the first sale will commence on June 1.
