After launching Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro in Thailand, the Chinese smartphone maker is planning to launch the device in the Indian market. Few sources and leaks have hinted towards the Indian launch of the smartphone. It might materialize in a few weeks as the smartphone is expected to launch sometime in November this year according to an intel with My Smart Price. As per its specifications, the Redmi Note 6 Pro has a 6.26-inch IPS LCD display which comes with 1080×2280 pixels resolution i.e. 403 PPI and a screen-to-body ratio of 81.1% producing brightness of 500 nits and protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass.

The device boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core process manufacturing on 14nm which is efficient along with its Adreno 509 GPU and paired with 4 or 6GB RAM since there are two configurations i.e. either 4GB/64GB and 6GB/64GB where only the former was launched in India. Hopefully, we will get to see both the RAM configurations during the release.

The camera department has received a number of bumps too making the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro officially the first Xiaomi smartphone to host a quadruple camera system. It has a 12MP main sensor at the back with an aperture of f/1.9 and an enlarged pixel size of 1.4micrometer while the secondary camera boasts a decent 1.12micrometer pixel size and an aperture of f/2.0 built-in the depth sensor. The front has a dual-camera setup too with a 20MP mail sensor and an aperture of f/2.0 while the secondary cam has a 2MP depth sensor and don’t forget, both the sets of cameras are backed by AI which escalates the quality and performance of an image.

Xiaomi' Redmi Note 6 Pro could make it to India next month

The smartphone has a design much similar like its predecessor Note 9 Pro and Xiaomi Mi A2 but it has received a huge bump in its camera department which not only looks brilliant on the paper but indeed they are. The device is backed by four color variants and hopefully, the Indian version of Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 will have all the four colors too which are red, rose gold, blue, and black.

Finally, it’s about the battery pack and Redmi Note 9 Pro will not disappoint you in any manner since it has a humongous 4,000 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery which is tested to have an on-screen time of more than 8.5 hours of continuous video playback or 6 hours of gaming. The battery is enough to last more than a day with mixed usage. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 9.0 which is lightweight, easy to use, and escalates the performance of the smartphone pretty efficiently.

BGR states that the price for the smartphone in Thailand is about THB 7,000 and we did a little math to calculate its price tag in INR which is around Rs 15,900/- but then again, Xiaomi is known to launch its smartphones at an inexpensive price in India and thus, we will have to wait for its launch sometime in November to get a clear idea.
