If you don’t already know, Xiaomi has scheduled an event for February 14 in India where it is expected to announce the Redmi Note 5. A new report has surfaced that suggests that not one, but two smartphones will be announced at the event. The Redmi Note 5 will be joined by its better variant allegedly called the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Ankit Chugh detailed about the phone on Twitter where he also shared the specifications of the Redmi Note 5. According to his tweet, the Redmi Note 5 Pro will have either 5.7-inch or 5.9-inch display with an FHD+ resolution. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor and will have two storage and RAM variants, one with 64GB of internal memory and 4GB of RAM and other with 64GB of internal memory and 6GB of RAM. It will have dual rear cameras with 12MP and 5MP sensors along with a 20MP camera unit on the front. The phone might also have a battery of 4,000mAh capacity.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 5 might be launched with a Snapdragon 625 processor sporting a 5.7-inch FHD+ display. According to the report, this phone will also have two storage and RAM variants, one with 64GB of flash memory and 4GB of RAM and another with 32GB of flash memory and 3GB of RAM. This one, too, will have a battery of 4,000mAh. Both the phones will be launching with hybrid SIM card slots and will come running MIUI 9.5 with Android Nougat.

Coming to the Mi TV that might launch alongside the two phones, Flipkart’s new teaser confirms its arrival. Flipkart has a page dedicated to Mi TV live on its website that teases some of the details. It clearly says the product is 4.9mm thick, which clearly means it is indeed the Mi TV 4. Xiaomi had also released a teaser video of the TV earlier today that gave its glimpse from certain angles. In China, the Mi TV 4 is available in four screen sizes – 49, 55, and 65 inches – with 4K HDR capabilities.
