OnePlus has officially confirmed the OnePlus Ace 5 series launch, set to debut in China this December. The upcoming Ace 5 series includes two models: OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. The new models boast impressive performance with dual Snapdragon processors, the Pro variant will feature the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, while the standard Ace 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

OnePlus Ace 5: The standard model with high-end features

According to reports, the OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to come equipped with a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE X2 8T LTPO flat display at a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The phone will equip a 50MP main camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor, a configuration that is the same as previous Ace series releases.

On the OnePlus Ace 5, we might see an optical fingerprint scanner, while on the OnePlus 13 series, we have an ultrasonic sensor. The Ace 5 will also feature a massive, 6500mAh battery that supports fast 100W charging.

OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, a device exclusive to the Chinese market, will offer more than what has been achieved by the former. The Ace 5 Pro is set to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with a better camera setup including a telephoto lens. The Pro variant should be able to retain slightly higher battery capacity of 6200mAh or 6300mAh, but the fast charging ability as observed in its counterpart will remain.
