Battery Capacities Could Be The Biggest Trade Off For Slim Phones
When you squeeze a phone’s thickness, you are either making strides in tech to reduce the size of the components or practically trading off using one. Anyway, both Apple’s and Samsung’s slim phones are slated to make an appearance this year and perhaps, one of the biggest trade these phones will bring to the table is their battery capacities.
According to Digital Chat Station, both the devices are going to feature battery capacities ranging between 3,000 and 4,000mAh. When you talk about expensive phones, they usually have better processors and technology inside. Perhaps, you need a generous battery to run these phones, or else, you would simply end up finding charging points every few hours.
It is surprising how Chinese smartphone makers are able to offer almost double the size of batteries that the iPhone 17 Air and the Galaxy S25 Slim are predicted to bring without bulking up their devices. In reference to battery size concern, OnePlus recently showcased its Glacier technology, which makes batteries hold more capacities and more backup without changing the size of the unit.
Consequently, Digital Chat Station adds how both of these ‘touted’ slim phones in their categories will pit battery life and heat dissipation to test. Both Samsung and Apple will have to combat dissipation and overheating issues on their respective slim phones.
