Xiaomi’s one of the best-selling smartphones is the Redmi Note series. Every generation of the Note series always touched a new height of success. If I remember properly, the journey of fame started from the Redmi Note 4, then never stopped. Xiaomi is now ready to introduce the new member(s) to the Note family, i.e., Redmi Note 10. A couple of days ago, the Global VP of Xiaomi posted a teaser banner of Redmi Note 10 on his Twitter handle, announcing the official global launch on 4th March 2021.

And then the day after the announcement, a microsite of Redmi Note 10 popped up on Mi India’s official website. The microsite didn’t reveal all the specs but a few key specifications of the upcoming smartphone, like the OEM of the SoC, the water-resistant rating, etc. First of all, the microsite again confirms the global launch date, which is scheduled for the 4th of March.
After that, the page is featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon logo, and from previous leaks, the Note 10 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 732G SoC or maybe the Snapdragon 750G SoC. As the Redmi Note 10 will be offered both in 4G and 5G variants, that clears the confusion of two rumored SoC, from our expectations, the 4G variant will be equipped with Snapdragon 732G and the 5G variant with the Snapdragon 750G. And also, the SoC will be paired with up to 8 GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, whereas the base variant will be equipped with 4 GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
The teasers suggest an all-new design that’s lighter and slimmer than its predecessors. we will see a punch-hole display in one among the teasers which also mentions Gorilla Glass protection on the front. An FCC listing suggests that the Note 10 Pro will flaunt an IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The side profile of the device is additionally revealed showing a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and therefore the protruding camera hump. the rear of the device is curved while the display appears to be flat. The Note 10 series also will accompany an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance.
Other than that Xiaomi is also claiming a much larger battery capacity than the previous-gen Redmi smartphones, and from previous leaks and rumors, the Redmi Note 10 is expected to be fueled with a 5050 mAh battery. The device will run on Xiaomi’s custom UI, the MIUI 12 which will be running on top of Android 11 out of the box.
Speaking of all the variants, the Redmi Note 10 Series will have 5 different RAM and storage variants and 3 different color options. The 5 RAM/ROM variants include the top 8 GB & 128 GB, and then 6 GB & 128 GB, 6 GB & 64 GB, and base variant of Note 10 Series will include 4 GB & 64 GB and 6 GB & 64 GB. The color option includes Gray, White, and Green.
