Apple was all set to release their much-awaited entry-level iPhone for this year which was going to be called the iPhone 9 or the iPhone SE 2. However, we have seen various reports starting this year about disruption in Apple’s supply chain and production due to the coronavirus outbreak. This has meant that everything got delayed and iPhones are in shortage as well. Now, a new report has emerged which says that Apple might have delayed its iPhone 9 launch as well.

Earlier, there were reports suggesting that we will see the Apple iPhone 9 by March-end which would be at a special event just like the company did one in 2019. However, the reports now suggest that the event has been called off as countries around the world are telling companies to call off mass gatherings that could spread the virus even more.

On the other hand, it is also being said that the delay could be long for the iPhone 9 because the company is now expected to launch this phone by June of this year. It is believed that the coronavirus pandemic might be suppressed by this time which means that everything would get back to normal.

Apple is yet to make an official announcement on whether it has delayed the launch event or even the fact that an iPhone 9 is indeed launching soon, we believe that the reports are quite accurate right now. This is also believed to be the time when the next generation of iPad Pro releases.

According to the same reports, iPhone 9 is believed to have Touch ID-support since it comes with an iPhone 8 body. On the other hand, the latest iPad Pro will have three cameras at the back just like the iPhone 11 Pro series. Regarding the iPhone 9, the reports still suggest that the phone will launch starting at $399 with the latest internals albeit with a four-year-old design.
