Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G Launched Globally Starting in Taiwan: Full Specs and Pricing
The Global Oppo Reno 14 Pro’s 6.83-inch OLED LTPS screen impressed me right away. It is ideal for outdoor viewing because it has a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a brightness peak of 1200 nits.
Particularly in low light conditions, the 3840Hz PWM dimming aids in lowering eye strain. Additionally, ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15, feels more practical, particularly with its integrated AI features that adjust to your needs.
Oppo has loaded the Reno 14 Pro with powerful hardware for photographers. A 50MP front camera with autofocus is included, which is good for taking flawless selfies. A main lens, an ultra-wide, and a 3.5x optical zoom lens with OIS for steady images make up the triple 50MP setup around the back. This camera system easily manages landscapes and portraits.
Under the hood, it is the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which powers the phone, manages multitasking and demanding apps with ease. Everything is quick and responsive when combined with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Additionally, the 6200mAh battery supports both 50W wireless and 80W wired charging, so battery life won’t be an issue. Besides, it maintains its coolness even under pressure because of a 5400 mm² vapor chamber.
The Reno 14 Pro weighs only 201g and has a thickness of 7.48 mm, despite all that power. It has an IP66, IP68, and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance and is built with a solid aluminum alloy frame. Additionally, you get haptic feedback powered by an x-axis linear motor, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, an IR blaster, and other small extras that are important for everyday use.
