Here’s our first look to the Moto G7 Seires with a revamped design

Lenovo-owned Motorola’s G series are always been known for offering pretty impressive features at a very affordable price tag. Though last year’s Moto  G6 lineup wasn’t that great, dominated by the smartphones from Honor, Redmi & Asus. The company hasn’t announced a new phone in well over six months. However, the latest news suggests that the company is seemingly working on the next device in the Moto G series, Moto G7 lineup, and it is reported to be announced during MWC 2019. Now, ahead of MWC, the renders of the upcoming Moto G series has been spotted online, thanks to a reliable website, Mysmartprice.

The newly leaked renders of the phones shows them with a revamped design, Keeping in line with the recent trend. As you can see in the renders below, both the Moto G7 and G7 Plus will carry a so called ‘waterdrop’ on the top of their displays.  The phones can be seen with a trimmed bottom chin, housing a Motorola Logo. In addition, both the phones will carry a dual camera setup on their back.

In addition to Moto G7 and G7 Plus, the company will also gonna announce Moto G7 play as well as Moto G7 Power, can be said the toned down versions of the standard G7 and the Plus. The Moto G7 Play will sport a larger notch on the top of the screen, with a slightly thicker bottom chin at the bottom. Going through the renders, both the phones are looking to sport a single camera lens at the back, together with a flash below the sensors. The standard Moto G7 will be available in Black and White color option, while the Plus variant will come in Red and Blue colors in Europe.

The Moto G7 series is likely to have a logo integrated physical fingerprint sensor. As per the source claims, the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus are specualted to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC under the hood. Being a toned version, Moto G7 Play is tipped to be powered by a Snapdragon 632 SoC, and the Moto G7 Power may carry a Snapdragon 625 chipset inside. As the name suggests, Moto G7 Power is supposed to fueled by a 5,000 mAh of battery.

Besides, The pricing details of the upcoming Moto G7 Play and G7 Power has been also revealed. As per the source claims, the base edition, Moto G7 Play, will be available for €149 (~$170) in European markets. It will be presented in Gold and Blue color variants. The Moto G7 Power is speculated to carry a price tag of €209 (~$230). Although, there’s no information regarding the pricing details of Moto G7 Plus and G7. So stay tuned.
