Honor launched a couple of phones a few weeks back and they are now making their way to India. The Honor 7X is already available here and the View 10 will soon be available too. Amazon.in has started to take registrations for the phone that will go on sale in January. The exact date, however, in not know yet.

For the general design, there are a lot of similarities between the budget oriented Honor 7X and the View 10. It sports a 5.99-inch 18:9 FullView display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080. The phone has thin bezels, but despite the fact, Honor managed to retain the fingerprint scanner on the front itself. It is a thin capsule-shaped scanner that sits on the bottom bezel.

The Honor View 10 comes powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 970 processor that, as per the company, is the first AI processor. The phone has 6GB of RAM along with an internal storage of 128GB which can also be expanded. It will come running EMUI 8 that is based on Android 8.0 Oreo and has support for dual-4G and dual-VOLTE.

Dual cameras sit on the back with a 16MP RGB primary sensor and a 20MP monochrome secondary sensor. The camera units support f/1.8 aperture and 4K video recording. A 13MP camera can be seen on the front. AI has a strong presence in the cameras that helps take better portrait shots. Face unlock is another feature of the View 10 that makes use of AI.

Honor has included a Game Suite in the EMUI that bumps up the gaming experience. It allows the users to manually select the modes from three options – gaming, normal, or power saving. While gaming, the user isn’t interrupted, and the network acceleration works to improve online gaming. The View 10 has a 3750mAh battery that also supports fast charging.

Neither Honor nor Amazon have shared any detail related to the phone’s pricing or availability. In the Europe, the phone was made available for 499 Euros (Rs. 37,955, on direct conversion). Indian pricing may be revealed when we inch closer to its official launch. The product page on Amazon India is live already and you can register for being notified once the phone is available for sale.
