Recent iQOO 13 key specs leaks are painting a clear picture of what we can expect the upcoming flagship iQOO 13 to bring on board. The latest one comes from tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo who corroborated some key specs that were leaked last week as well.
iQOO 13 key specs reveals 2K display from BOE
According to the latest set of leaks, the upcoming iQOO 13 (or iQOO 13 Pro, whatever iQOO ends up calling it), would feature a 2K BOE X-series LTPO display with a speedy 144Hz refresh rate. iQOO 13 is highly speculated to feature a large display with narrow bezels and a flat design to appease the masses and offer a splendid visual experience. There’s a single-point ultrasonic under-the-display fingerprint sensor as well. It means the scanner won’t be large and rather have a single point of contact akin to optical sensors.
Moving on, we have the build quality. iQOO 13 is speculated to feature a glass back and metal middle frame. DCS mentions there will be the highest dust and water resistance specifications as well which we believe is IP68.
Releasing primarily in China this October, the iQOO 13 or iQOO 13 Pro will feature a 6,000mAh battery thanks to previous leaks. We are aware it is going to pack in 100W of wired and a 50W of wireless charging but there’s no wireless charging involved at least to the best of our knowledge as of writing this.
On the optics front, being a flagship phone, iQOO 13 is bound to bring beefy camera specs as well, unfortunately, we aren’t aware of the specifics. We do know there’s a 3x periscope telephoto cam in the works but that’s about it.
There’s a lot of buzz around the vibration motor in use. It is expected to pack in an AAC ESA1016 vibration motor with super-large X-axis linear vibration. Although it looks good on paper, we will have to wait to feel the actual vibration intensity and effectiveness once the device is out in public later this year.
iQOO 13 key specs mentions the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC starring as the lead handling all the processing. Xiaomi will still swoop the opportunity to feature the chipset first with the Xiaomi 15 series but iQOO will be probably the next to pick it up.
Finally, the speculated pricing is pegged around CNY 3,999 or $550 which seems like a sweet spot for pricing. Its launch date internationally is yet to be confirmed although we are expecting a price hike for the global markets for sure.
