Let’s check out the details you have been waiting for.
Motorola Edge 50 Neo Specifications
Motorola Edge 50 Neo (or Moto Edge 50 Neo) sports a 6.4” LTPO pOLED panel with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and HDR10+ support with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
Further, the phone uses a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection while an IP68 rating protects it from water and dust elements. Interestingly, it packs in MIL-STD-810H certification which provides it with military-grade durability.
Unlike Edge 50 or Edge 50 Pro, the Edge 50 Neo packs in a Dimensity 7300 SoC under the hood paired alongside 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It uses a virtual RAM of up to 8GB with AI optimization.
Beyond that, Motorola has included the Android 14 OS out-of-the-box with a magnificent five years of major Android OS upgrade and security updates. It is in the same class with the vanilla Edge 50 while propelling forward by two whole years compared to the Edge 50 Pro.
Moving forward, the phone’s rear panel is polished in vegan leather. It has a quadruple-looking-but-certainly-triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP primary with OIS, 13MP ultrawide, and a 10MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom capability. On the front side, the phone offers a 32MP shooter for impressive selfies.
When it comes to the battery, the phone uses a 4,310mAh battery pack (almost 690 mAh less than Edge 50) paired with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging support. Plus, there’s Bluetooth v5.3, tri-band Wi-Fi, stereo speakers, an under–display fingerprint scanner, and a few things left and right to stay close to its counterparts.
