OnePlus is set to launch its newest flagship phone, the OnePlus 13s, to the Indian market. Following its recent launch in China as the OnePlus 13T, the company has begun teasing the India release with an intriguing teaser.

Display and design
One of the standout features of the OnePlus 13s (also known as the OnePlus 13T in China) is its compact size without compromising on performance. The phone boasts a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED display, which offers full-HD+ resolution with an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. The display is protected by Crystal Shield Glass.
Weighing just 185 grams, the OnePlus 13s features a balanced design, making it comfortable for long-term usage. The metal frame, with its curved corners, ensures a secure grip. The rear design has been revamped with minimal protrusions and a redesigned camera housing.
Performance
Under the hood, the OnePlus 13s is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This is paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and a massive 1 TB of internal storage on the highest variant. The phone also features a 4400 mm vapor chamber cooling system to handle thermal performance, ensuring smooth operation even during intense usage.
Battery and charging
Another highlight of the OnePlus 13s is its large 6,260mAh silicon-carbon battery, which promises extended usage. OnePlus claims the energy density of the battery is optimized for longer usage on a single charge. Additionally, the phone supports 80W fast charging, which makes it possible to quickly recharge the device and get back to using it in no time.
Camera
The OnePlus 13s focuses on delivering high-quality zoom and regular shots. It comes equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 main sensor and a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto lens. While there is no ultra-wide camera, this setup should be more than sufficient for everyday photography and video calls. On the front, a 16-megapixel camera is included for selfies and video calls.
Software and additional features
While the Chinese variant of the OnePlus 13T runs on ColorOS 15, the Indian version will likely come with OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15. Users can also expect several additional features, including:
- IP65 rating for water and dust resistance.
- G1 Wi-Fi chip and a 360-degree antenna setup for improved signal strength, especially useful for gaming.
- A customizable button replacing the alert slider, allowing users to set shortcuts for tasks like switching sound profiles or launching apps.

Expected pricing in India
The OnePlus 13s, which debuted in China as the OnePlus 13T, comes with a price tag of CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs 39,800) for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant. Based on OnePlus’ pricing strategy in India for previous models, the Indian version is expected to be priced between Rs 45,000 and Rs 50,000. Given that the OnePlus 13R is currently priced at Rs 42,999, it is unlikely the 13s will come in at a lower price point.
Launch and availability
The OnePlus 13s is expected to launch within the next few weeks in India, likely sometime in May 2025. The device will be available for purchase on Amazon.in, the official OnePlus India online store, and select offline stores. OnePlus has also announced a “Notify Me” feature on their website, allowing users to sign up for updates and potentially win a OnePlus 13s or OnePlus Buds Pro 3.
