It was just yesterday when we had reported about the leaked images and specifications of the OnePlus 5T. And today, it is the complete unboxing video of the OnePlus 5T. The video is now live on YouTube and it again confirms a lot of things that we have heard over the past few weeks.
The video comes from a YouTube channel called EliTdrone who got hold of it from the original channel: Karl Conrad, who seems to have a review unit. The black box is similar to the OnePlus 5 boxes that were received by the media, you can check out our OnePlus 5 unboxing here. It includes a retail unit of the device along with all the official OnePlus back covers.
Coming right to the phone, its box clearly mentions the name OnePlus 5T. As you’d expect all the things are similar to what we have seen in the leaked images yesterday. On top of the box is the OnePlus 5T itself with its giant 6-inch display on the top. Interestingly, the video also reveals the face unlock feature during the first boot of the OnePlus 5T.
When compared with the OnePlus 5 side by side, the 5T looks a lot better now with its new 2017-like design. The fingerprint scanner now sits right above the OnePlus logo at the back, and it’s thankfully in the centre. As we said in the earlier piece, there isn’t anything left from being revealed now, except for the price.
Among the bunch of back covers that can be seen in the video, there is a red colour one, too, this time. This vibrant case comes along with the other usual back covers that the company makes. And they all have a cut out in the centre, instantly giving a confirmation of the rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
