The Realme P4 series is set to debut in India on August 20, bringing two models, the standard Realme P4 5G and the Realme P4 Pro 5G. Both devices are already listed on Flipkart and Realme India’s official website, revealing most of their specifications ahead of the launch.
Realme P4 series: Two upcoming mid-rangers under ₹30,000 price segment
Realme P4 Pro 5G: Flagship-level features at mid-range pricing
This is the more powerful phone in the series. It runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. On top of that, Realme has worked with Pixelworks to add a separate AI chip called Hyper Vision. This is actually a graphics chip, not just marketing, and it is going to help with gaming visuals, frame generation and resolution upscaling in real time. This is the first time we are seeing something like this under ₹30,000.
The display is another big thing here. It’s a 6.77-inch AMOLED with 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, HDR10+ and up to 6,500 nits peak brightness. That’s very bright, so even outside in sunlight it should be very clear.
The battery is huge, 7,000mAh, but still the phone is only 7.68mm thick. Realme is claiming it can handle more than 8 hours of BGMI at 90fps. Charging is 80W, so it will be fast. You also get reverse charging at 10W and bypass charging, which powers the phone directly so it doesn’t heat much when gaming. For cooling, there’s a 7000mm² AirFlow VC Cooling System, which Realme says is the biggest in this category.
Realme P4 5G: Strong performance at a lower price point
The normal P4 is not bad at all. It has a 6.77 inch FHD+ AMOLED with 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 10-bit colors and 4,500 nits peak brightness. The processor here is MediaTek Dimensity 7400. You still get the same 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging and the same large cooling system.

Realme is clearly aiming at the performance segment with these phones. The Realme P4 Pro specs in particular are going to set a new standard for what we expect under ₹30,000. The combination of a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a separate graphics chip, bright 144Hz AMOLED and a massive battery makes it look like a strong option for gamers and heavy users. Let’s see on August 20 how the pricing comes out, but for now, the P4 series is looking like serious competition in 2025.
