Xiaomi has confirmed that the REDMI Note 15 Pro series will launch in India on January 29. The lineup includes the REDMI Note 15 Pro and REDMI Note 15 Pro+. The phones were launched globally earlier this month after debuting in China last year.
REDMI Note 15 Pro+ key features
Xiaomi says the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ will feature a 200MP rear camera, aimed at high-resolution photography. The phone is built with the REDMI Titan structure and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
For durability, the device comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, which indicate resistance to dust and water under standard testing conditions.
The phone packs a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging, as confirmed by the company.
Performance and display
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and supports up to 12GB RAM, along with up to 12GB virtual RAM. Xiaomi has also added IceLoop cooling to help manage heat.
It features a 6.83-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 3840Hz PWM dimming. The screen can reach up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, according to Xiaomi.
The standard REDMI Note 15 Pro shares the same OLED display and 200MP camera. However, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor instead of Snapdragon.
REDMI Note 15 Pro series availability and launch offer
Xiaomi confirmed that the REDMI Note 15 Pro series will be sold on Amazon, Xiaomi Official Store, and through offline stores across India. The company also announced a launch offer, stating that buyers will get a REDMI Watch Move for free with the purchase, subject to terms and availability.
With large displays, high-resolution cameras, fast charging, and strong durability features, the REDMI Note 15 Pro series aims to offer competitive features in the mid-range segment. Pricing and full details are expected to be announced at the launch on January 29.
