Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A06 in Vietnam, expanding its popular A series lineup with a feature-packed yet affordable smartphone. The Galaxy A06 stands out with its impressive 6.7-inch 90Hz display, making it the largest screen in the series to date, catering to users who prioritize a larger viewing experience on a budget.

Large display and dual cameras

The Galaxy A06 is equipped with a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD, featuring a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals.

The front of the device includes an 8MP camera nestled within a notch, ideal for capturing selfies and video calls. On the rear, the phone sports a 50MP primary camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor, enabling users to take detailed photos with enhanced depth and clarity.

Powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, the Galaxy A06 offers reliable performance with its octa-core CPU and ARM Mali-G52 GPU. The smartphone comes in two configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, both expandable up to 1TB via microSD.

Running on Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI overlay, the A06 promises a seamless and user-friendly experience, complete with 4 years of security updates and 2 major OS upgrades.

Battery life and additional specs

One of the standout features of the Galaxy A06 is its, 5000mAh battery, which supports 25W fast charging, ensuring extended usage on a single charge. However, it’s important to note that the charger is not included in the box.

The device also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick and secure access, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack and dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.

Galaxy A06: Pricing and launch offers

The Samsung Galaxy A06 is attractively priced at 3,190,000 Vietnamese dong (around USD 127 / Rs. 10,675) for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The higher-end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 3,790,000 Vietnamese dong (approximately USD 151 / Rs. 12,685).

The device will be available for purchase starting August 22nd. Early buyers who purchase the phone by September 30th can take advantage of a 0% installment plan for 4 months and receive a free 25W charger.
