Samsung Galaxy M07 4G is official in India without much fanfare. Apparently, the phone was rolled out on Samsung India’s website with a price tag of INR 6,999/-, and if we hadn’t seen it ourselves, we wouldn’t have believed it was already out. Here’s what you need to know about this budget phone.

Samsung silently brought the Galaxy M07 to the Indian market via Samsung India and Amazon India. The phone brings a 6.7” LCD 720 × 1600 pixels panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and an 8MP selfie shooter sitting on top of it. Flip the phone, and you get a 50MP primary rear and a 2MP secondary depth sensor. A beefy 5,000mAh battery sits under the hood, powering the device ‘for eternity’, just kidding.
Samsung Galaxy M07 draws power from MediaTek Helio G99 SoC alongside 64GB expandable storage, 4GB of RAM, and Android 15 out of the box. An IP54 rating protects the device from dust and splashes. Luckily, we have a 3.5mm headphone jack on the device, a luxury today as smartphone makers are getting rid of the much-loved jack on their latest offerings.
The South Korean giant has promised six big Android upgrades for the M07, keeping it alive at least till 2031 (seems way too long for a budget phone, but it is what it is). There are also six years of security updates that redefine your security architecture, keeping your phone protected against prying eyes.
It is a 4G phone, much like Galaxy A07 4G (launched in August), and almost every spec remains unchanged.
