The next Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be made official probably in January 2021 if not February as earlier scheduled. The Samsung Galaxy S21 series brings three models i.e. Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and the recent leak gives an extensive look at the specifications these three models bring on-board.

According to the report, the trio will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC while it will be powered by Exynos 2100 SoC in some markets. Apparently, all three models will have 5G support along with Wi-Fi 6 although the Galaxy S21 Ultra will take it a step further with Wi-Fi 6E.

Next up, the Galaxy S21 will sport a 6.2″ FHD+ LTPS display and the same goes for the Galaxy S21 Plus although the latter will have a 6.7-inch FHD+ display and both will have 120Hz refresh rate on-board. The third of the Galaxy S21 series i.e. Galaxy S21 Ultra will feature a 6.9″ WQHD+ LTPO display with a punch-hole cutout for its front camera. The display is bright at 1600 nits and has a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Samsung is bundled large batteries with the Galaxy S21 taking a 4,000 mAh power block while the Galaxy S21 Plus packs in a 4,800 mAh battery and finally, the S21 Ultra packs in the largest 5,000 mAh battery under the hood. Next up the trio will arrive with Android 11-based OneUI 3.1 out-of-the-box.

Talking about the camera setup, the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus feature a triple camera setup which includes a 12MP primary, 64MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with the bump that molds onto the left side of the phone. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is integrated with a quad-camera setup which includes a 108MP primary second-gen sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 10MP telephoto sensor with 10x optical zoom, and finally, a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom on-board. The camera setup is flanked with a LED flash and that’s pretty much all.

The trio is capable of shooting videos at 4K@60fps while you can yank it up to 8K resolution at 30fps. Other modes include front and back simultaneous shot, among others.

Going ahead, we had a tonne of leaks around the color choices that the trio will pack in. Starting with Galaxy S21, it will be available in four vivid color choices i.e. Phantom White, Phantom Pink, Phantom Violet, and Phantom Gray. Next up, the Galaxy S21 Plus packs in Phantom Silver, Phantom Black, and Phantom Violet. Finally, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is available with Phantom Silver and Phantom Black colorways. The trio will have a distinct colored camera bump that will correspond to the color variant you would pick.
