Just days after the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra Geekbench listings revealed the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, a new Galaxy S26 Geekbench listing has surfaced with the Exynos 2600 SoC. Now the Geekbench database has revealed a lot more about the upcoming model, and it pretty much shows what Samsung has in store for its consumers ahead of the lineup’s launch.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Geekbench listing reveals key details
So, the Geekbench listing shows a new Samsung phone with the model number SM-S942N, which is referred to as the Galaxy S26 with Exynos 2600 SoC. This is the Exynos-powered variant available in South Korea, paired with 12GB RAM and Android 16-powered One UI 8.5 out of the box.
The Geekbench listing reveals scores of 3,315 and 11,310 points on single-core and multi-core tests. Notably, the Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S26 bearing model number SM-S942U scored 3,378 and 10,097 points on Geekbench v6. The reported scores hint at just how far Samsung’s Exynos 2600 SoC has come to compete head-on with Snapdragon’s latest iteration.
The listing puts forward the Samsung Xclipse 960 GPU on board. The South Korean giant maintains that Exynos 2600 variants have double the power of a computer and 50 percent higher ray tracing performance compared to the predecessor Exynos 2500’s GPU.
Samsung Galaxy S26 specs at a glance
The Geekbench listing already confirms the Exynos 2600 SoC; the chipset comes with a 10-core architecture with a prime core capped at 3.80Ghz. The phone has 12GB of RAM, and we could see a much higher 16GB variant as well.
Based on reports, the Galaxy S26 is expected to boast a 6.3” FHD+ panel with a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate and 2,600 nits of peak brightness. We might see 256GB/512GB storage variants. On the camera front, we might get a 50MP primary, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP telephoto capable of reaching 3x optical zoom. The Galaxy S26 is likely to feature a 4,300mAh battery, much higher than its predecessors, paired with 25W charging.
Although the Samsung Galaxy S26 launch date is not set in stone, we are assuming it will happen on February 25, as per a tweet by tipster Evan Blass. However, it is recommended to take things with a pinch of salt until there’s any official confirmation.
